Disposable Scalpels are sterile single-use scalpels which feature an ultra sharp carbon steel blade and ergonomically designed handle for better feel and precision.
The No.15 is a small pointed, crescent shaped blade sharpened along the inside edge of the curve:
- Single use, disposable.
- Individually wrapped.
- Sterilized by Gamma Radiation.
- Entered on the ARTG, number 375354.
- Sometimes utilised as a suture cutter.
Also can be used within dental surgery for raising skin flaps and for removing excess polymerised composite resin on the facial and interproximal region of the tooth during restoration procedures.
